The anatomy of the race-winning KX™250F engine includes finger-follower valve actuation, a downdraft-style intake, and dual injectors. An aligned intake and centrally positioned, straight exhaust port maximize airflow efficiency for smooth low-rpm torque and strong pulling power at low speeds and on climbs.
Revisions to the combustion chamber increase combustion speed and efficiency for more peak power, torque, and stronger high-rpm acceleration. An extended exhaust pipe boosts low-end torque, while updated FI settings provide a more linear throttle response. Together, these updates create a stronger power feeling across the entire rpm range.
The direct feel of the hydraulic clutch gives riders precise control over acceleration. To further enhance this characteristic, the clutch capacity has been increased to help reduce slip and transfer power more directly to the rear tire for stronger drive and acceleration.
On the KX™250F, dual injectors and an optimized air intake system deliver efficient airflow and crisp throttle response for strong, hard-hitting acceleration.

Victory starts with the KX™250F motorcycle’s potent, 249cc engine that has been further refined to deliver more linear throttle response and more power across the entire rpm range. The anatomy of this race-winning engine includes finger-follower valve actuation, a downdraft-style intake, and dual injectors. This KX250F is our most competitive 250-class racing package to date.
A high-performance Showa 49mm inverted coil-spring fork delivers smooth action and firm damping, while adjustable Uni-Trak® rear suspension provides a high degree of comfort and control. Revised front and rear suspension settings increase ground-holding performance—especially helpful when racing in conditions that change from lap to lap.
A lightweight aluminum perimeter frame maintains light, nimble handling and a composed character, while optimized rigidity balance enhances front-end feel for superior cornering performance across a wide range of conditions.

DIRT-GRIPPING CONTROLPEAK DEXTERITY
Engineered for race-ready performance, the KX™250F motorcycle pairs a lightweight aluminum frame with revised suspension settings for agile handling and increased ground-holding performance.
Using the Mode (M) button on the left handlebar, riders can quickly switch between 2 ECU engine maps—Normal and Aggressive. Updated FI settings in Aggressive mode sharpen throttle response for a more immediate, hard-hitting feel.
Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) offers traction management at the push of a button. Using the Traction (T) button on the left handlebar, riders can choose between 2 levels of intervention—Weak and Strong—or switch the system off.
A factory-style launch control system helps maximize traction and acceleration from the gate drop. By pressing the Mode and Traction buttons simultaneously, riders activate launch control for efficient starts in low-traction conditions.
Kawasaki’s flagship technology, RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX™, is available on the KX™250F. With this game-changing software, riders can calibrate engine mapping, monitor engine telemetry, track maintenance schedules, and more.

A redesigned front number plate and fender, paired with aggressive Lime Green coloring, reinforce Kawasaki’s distinctive racing image and the bike’s light, functional beauty. Rerouting the brake hose behind the front number plate also contributes to a cleaner front-end appearance.
Experience the winning advantage of Kawasaki-exclusive ERGO-FIT® adjustable components. Riders can choose between 4 handlebar positions and 2 footpeg positions, tailoring their riding position based on body size and preference.
Medium-compound ODI Lock-On grips deliver excellent grip feel with a screw-type fastening system that makes changing grips quick and easy.
A quick-release side cover can be removed without tools, allowing for easy access to the air filter element.
